Klaed turns your wardrobe into outfits. To do that we process some of your personal data. This page explains what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and the rights you have under the GDPR (AVG).

What we collect

Account data — your email address, used to create and secure your account.
Profile & preferences — details you provide such as gender and style preferences, used to tailor outfit suggestions.
Wardrobe photos — the images of clothing you upload, which we analyse to recognise colour, style, brand, and material.
Calendar events — only if you choose to connect Google Calendar, so we can match outfits to your plans. You can disconnect this at any time.
Location & weather — approximate location to factor local weather into suggestions.
Technical & usage data — basic information needed to run the service securely and reliably.

Why we use it

To provide the service — creating your wardrobe and outfit suggestions (performance of our agreement with you).
To improve the product — keeping Klaed reliable and making it better (our legitimate interest).
With your consent — calendar and location are used only when you enable them, and you can withdraw consent at any time.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Klaed. They process data only on our instructions:

Supabase — database and authentication.
Cloudinary & PhotoRoom — hosting and processing of your wardrobe images.
OpenAI & Anthropic — AI analysis of wardrobe items and outfit generation.
Google — calendar access, only if you connect it.
Vercel & Railway — hosting of our website and application.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer takes place under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, or ask us to remove your data, we delete it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, email info@klaed.nl. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Cookies

This website uses no tracking or advertising cookies. The Klaed app uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
